Het landschap van de polyfonisten - The world of the Franco-Flemish School (1400-1600)
Photography: Luk Van Eeckhout
Why did the polyphonists all come from the same region of southwest Belgium and northern France?
And and what was the influence of this region on their music?
A unique analysis of the environment - the ‘cultural landscape’ - of the 15th

Pentecost Festival 2019
7 - 8 - 9 June 2019
The Huelgas Ensemble in Talant (Burgundy)
Artistic director: Paul Van Nevel
The Huelgas Ensemble is a cultural ambassador for Flemish heritage
For the first time in its existence, the Huelgas Ensemble presents and sings in its own festival, based on a new concept: for three days the audience is engaged in an auditory adventure of unknown works (on which experiments are sometimes carried out), new forms, and interaction between performer and audience, all taking place in an exceptional location - the Burgundian village of TALANT - with its beautiful late Romanesque church. The audience is actively involved, both before, during and after the concerts.
A festival never to be forgotten!
